Kim Moccia
Therapist
Hi! My name is Kim Moccia and I am excited to be a member of the Orthopaedics Plus team! My motivation comes from assisting others in reaching their goals and empowering them to learn about their health and wellness. I believe this starts with building a strong rapport between the patient and their health provider. I strive to provide the highest quality care by truly getting to know each and every patient and what motivates them. A little about what has motivated me in life is my family. I was first introduced to the physical therapy profession after my parents had their fair share of surgeries/injuries. Growing up attending their physical therapy appointments with them, I was intrigued by their treatments and the progress they were able to make. I attended Northeastern University and graduated from the 6 year accelerated DPT program. I gained crucial experience through my clinical and cooperative learning experiences that assisted in preparing me for the orthopedic setting. With my goal of providing the highest quality of care, I knew that being a lifelong learner would allow me to continue refining my skills. This drove me to complete Level 1 of the Instituite of Orthopaedic Manual Therapy residency along with a 1 year fellowship at Boston University in Orthopedic Manual Therapy. I currently hold my Fellowship through AAOMPT and will continue to make education a top priority. When I am not in the clinic, you can find me spending quality time with loved ones and my dog Axel. I enjoy being outdoors, running, hiking (all of course with Axel), reading a good book and exploring new restaurants.
