Chris

Therapist

Hi! My name is Chris Birotte. I am honored and excited for the opportunity to be a part of the Orthopaedics Plus team. Since middle school, I have been a competitive cross country and track and field athlete. I enjoyed the mental and physical battle of running longer distance races and continued to run in high school and in college at Franklin Pierce University. I sustained many injuries throughout my time as a competitive runner leading me to become interested in understanding the human body and how to recover from these injuries. After spending time in different physical therapy settings, I realized how much of an impact physical therapists can have in helping people take action and control of their lives. Seeing all the meaningful connections made in the office and the joy that therapists brought to their patients is primarily what led me to choose this career path.

I am from Lynn, Massachusetts and it has always been a mission of mine to give back to the community. I first got involved with the Beverly community through a company called Bonaloop, in which I was able to interact and help residents around the north shore complete odd jobs and household tasks from weeding to helping them move out. Through connections I made working for Bonaloop, I was introduced to Dr. Mike Stare in 2016. Soon after I became a rehab technician at Orthopaedics Plus, and the rest is history. I also worked a job helping the food pantry and ended up being employed for 2 years as a food truck driver at Beverly Bootstraps. I maintain a strong relationship with Beverly Bootstraps and I currently volunteer as Advisor to the Board.

After spending 2 years working several jobs, including my position as a rehab technician at Orthopaedics Plus in order, to save up for my wedding, I got married to the love of my life and started physical therapy school at Franklin Pierce University all in the same week! Fast forward to 2021 and I have graduated and returned to this amazing team at Orthopaedics Plus as a Staff Physical Therapist.

When I am not working, you may see me running down Lynn Beach with my dog, Eliza or lifting weights at the Iron Village gym right in Beverly. I really enjoy being part of the fun and motivating community at Iron Village. To match a great environment, their coaches do a great job of programming and catering to each individual’s needs. I usually walk out of there with my behind kicked but a profound sense of accomplishment.

On the weekend you may not be able to find me as I will be in my office playing Playstation with friends, watching the Celtics if they are on, or spending time with my in-laws while having a cold beer and eating Brazilian barbeque out on the deck.
